Hello Bulldogs! I hope all is well. Ms. Beilfuss has created a website with resources for parents to use at home with their students for music education. This is a great site with lots of fun activities. Great job Ms. Beilfuss! Check out the link. https://beilfussd.wixsite.com/msbeilfussmusic

I know how much our students enjoyed the recent visit we had from the John Ball Zoo and yesterday I found these really fun videos from the Cincinnati Zoo featuring a new animal every day at 3:00. Today's video is about the Lions! There are even some fun activities you can do that coordinate with the animal you see each day. Previous videos are also available and include Sloths, an Ocelot, a Porcupine and a Hippo! You can find the videos at the Cincinnati Zoo website under the Home Safari Resources page or you can also find them on YouTube. The link is below. Kind of like a field trip from the comfort of your home!

Another option for online learning preK-2, I was able to get a free school code for ABCMouse. You can add up to 3 children per household. Make sure to use the website listed on the photo and the school code.
Happy Learning!

Another assignment I usually give at this time is to make a family tree, except instead of the usual the goal is to track characteristics, like eye color, hair color, baldness, earlobe attachment, cleft chin, ear point and so on so we can use it to show how genetics-inheritance works. You could even try to track medical conditions like high blood pressure, talk to your folks to make sure they are comfortable with it. The other thing that sometimes comes up is difficulty tracing family, so if you have trouble with that find a celebrity you want to be "part of your family" and that you can find a picture of so you can see the traits you are tracking. There are lots of examples on line if you look, be creative and have fun.

Attention Seniors - We will be canceling the Jostens' order pick up that was scheduled for Thursday, March 19. We will be rescheduling ASAP.

Hello Everyone,
I know many of you are changing spring break plans for this year. I wanted you to be aware that at the WMISD Board Meeting last night. They voted to change next year's spring break (2020-2021) to March 29-April 2.
This was in the works before this current school closure it has nothing to do with what we are currently facing.

A great way to keep your children entertained and sharp for school is to read!
Please have your children read at least 20 minutes a day.
K-5 Grades: Here is a reading strategy you can practice at home, 10 recommended books and a calendar with daily reading-related activities.
Enjoy!

Hello Everyone,
I hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy. I have put together a brief (4 question) survey regarding internet and device availability. I am curious as to what we would have for virtual learning.
Please take the time to compete this survey.
