Hello Bulldogs,
It has been a great 1st day of school! It is so nice to see all the students back in the building. A reminder to elementary parents picking up their child at the end of the day. The new pickup location is on the south west side of the building off Walter St. Parents may wait in their vehicles or on the sidewalk. Staff will be walking students by grade level to be picked up. My name is Nate Frieswyk. I will be this year's college adviser at Mesick High School. I graduated from Albion College with degrees in Mathematics and Economics. My goal as a college adviser is to set every student on the best path towards fulfilling their goals for after high school. I look forward to working with every student and parent by sharing my knowledge, experiences, and training.

Kitchen Staff Job Posting
Hello Bulldogs! 6th - 12th grade schedules were sent out last week and hopefully have shown up in your mailbox. If you have a schedule change request or questions, please email Mrs. Rasmussen. Requests will be answered in the order they are received. We have quite a few requests already and I would like to thank you in advance for your patience as we work to get through all of them. Mesick Adolescent Wellness Center is located inside the Mesick JR/SR High School Library. The nurses hours are Tuesday's and Thursday's from 8 AM-4 PM and the counselors hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM. The consent form is attached.

The Mesick High School Band will continue to have Band Camp as planned, August 17-August 20 - but now with a modified schedule.

Today the MHSAA announced that the 2020 Fall football season will be postponed until the Spring of 2021. We have had numerous coaches and players working incredibly hard for the last two months preparing for the season. Their commitment to success, despite the obstacles they were facing, is what high school sports is all about! In regards to Junior High Football, all activities have been postponed until the Spring of 2021. Cross Country and Volleyball will continue as planned. A decision from the MHSAA on Volleyball contests will take place next week and we will communicate that information when it is received. For additional details on today's announcement, please see the link below. Our thoughts are with our players and coaches as they look to navigate this Fall without football.
