Join us tonight for our WHITE OUT basketball game! This is a triple header against Bear Lake with a start time of 5 pm! JV boys play first with our varsity girls to follow, and we will finish the night with our boys' varsity. Student/athletes wearing white = free admission!
Today's home girls' varsity game against Bear Lake and the boys' Jr. High game with Frankfort have been canceled. We will play a triple-header tomorrow, with Bear Lake, starting at 5 PM. The order of games will be JV boys, varsity girls, and varsity boys. Also, Monday's Jr. High boys' game with Onekama has changed to a 4 PM start.
Due to school being cancelled today our Community Advisory Committee meeting is being postponed to January 8th 3:30-4:30pm, tentatively in the Jr/Sr High Library. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
We want to thank our students' families and community members for showing their support at our elementary concert last night! It was one of the biggest audiences we've had in a long time!

We have three home basketball games tonight vs Leelanau St. Mary's at the high school: the Boys' JV will start at 4:30, and the Girls' Varsity and Boys' Varsity will follow. We also have two junior high boys' games at the elementary gym, starting at 5:30. See you at the games.

Our Kindergarten, First Grade, and Second Grade can't wait to see you on Tuesday at 6 pm! They have been working hard since late October on some very exciting music.
Doors open at 5:30 PM and students can be brought to their classrooms beginning at 5:45 PM. Students are expected to remain with their teachers until the end of the concert so they can perform their final song all together.
JV/Varsity boys' game vs GTA is rescheduled for Monday, Dec. 9th, at 6 PM.
We have put together a series of fun Holiday Dress-up Days for our remaining two weeks of school before we go into Winter Break!
Please remember that all outfits must still follow the dress code and be school appropriate.

Our Wellness Center would like your input during our next Community Advisory Committee meeting. We need parents, teachers and community members to share their voice. We have had some great changes to our wellness center here at Mesick Schools and would love your input as well as provide you with information about what we offer. We are meeting in the High School Library on Thursday December 12th, 3:30-4:30pm
Today's Leelanau St. Mary's girls' varsity home game is canceled.
Elementary is participating in the non-perishable food drive sponsored by Mesick High School NHS. The last chance to donate is tomorrow, December 4th, at 8:30 a.m. Our total of donations from the elementary as of today is 1,360. The class with the highest will win an ice cream reward party, currently in 1st place is Mrs. Brechenser with 236. In 2nd is Mrs. MacEachern with 212, 3rd is Mrs. Parrish with 184, 4th is Mrs. Bailey with 105, and in 5th place is Mrs. Shermak with 101. Thank you for all of your donations!
December 2-6 is National Influenza Vaccination Week. Reach out to your PCP, local health department or even Tonnia, your school nurse to get your child their flu shots!
