On November 2nd, the annual National Honor Society-sponsored food drive began, wrapping up on December 1st. The elementary classes and the junior/senior high classes competed to see who could collect the most donations, with the winning classes receiving an ice cream reward party. This year's final totals are as follows: The junior/senior high staff donated 117 items. Community members donated 1,622 items. The elementary students gathered a total of 1,865 items, with Mrs. Parrish’s class winning their competition with 416 items. The winning class for the junior/senior high was the sophomore class with 867 items. This year's drive resulted in 5,371 total items collected. The proceeds were delivered to the Mesick Community Pantry on the afternoon of December 1st. Thank you to everyone who helped make the food drive a success!

We Need Your Help! As the Superintendent of Mesick Consolidated Schools, my goal is to create an environment where EVERY student can grow and thrive academically, behaviorally, socially, and emotionally. We realize that we are NOT presently serving every student that way. The help that we need is as follows: *Beginning in January, we will send out several short surveys asking for your honest, direct critique and feedback regarding several aspects of the services Mesick Consolidated Schools provides for our students. We need to hear the good and, especially, the bad and the ugly on these upcoming surveys! Your voice matters! We cannot serve our students effectively if we do not hear from you. Thank you!

Parents of Seniors (Class of 2023)! If your student is thinking about college, an important step in the college going process is filing for the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). This is the application that both the federal and state governments as well as colleges will use to award need based monies (grants) as well as loans. Colleges will use this to put together a financial package and help determine how much additional assistance a student may need! The first step in this process is creating an FSA (Federal Student Aid) ID. I've attached a checklist of all the information you should need in order to create your FSA ID as well as my email address. If you need additional assistance setting up your FSA ID or have any other questions related to the college going process, please do not hesitate to reach out!
