Tomorrow night we will be offering students a ride to the girls district championship game at Buckley. Students wanting a ride will need to report to the high school commons at 6:00 PM. The bus will return from Buckley around 9:00 pm. The bus ride is free for all students however each student will be responsible to pay the $6 entry fee at Buckley. Mesick Girls Basketball is heading back to the district finals for the first time since 2010 after defeating Brethren tonight in a hard fought battle! The championship game will be Friday night at 7pm at Buckley High School. We hope to see everyone there! Congratulations girls!

Parent Teacher conferences are this Thursday March 7th from 5-8 pm. Parents of JR/SR High students do not need an appointment and can come at a time that is convenient for you. Parents of elementary students, teachers will contact you for appointments if needed, or you can contact your student’s teacher if you would like to set up an appointment. Check out our talented artists! We have over 30 works of student art on display at the Crooked Tree Art Art Center in Traverse City. The show Opened today and runs through March 30th. Great job by our student artists!
CPA-Some of our middle school students participated in Career Prep Academy at CTC on Friday, March 1. They visited the Power Sports and Equipment Program, where they learned about fuel testing, welding, soldering, and working on small engines.
Mesick JR/SR High just completed a successful lockdown drill.
Congratulations to ours girls who pulled off an amazing upset on Senior night. We took down 14-4 Pentwater who finished second in the conference. The student section was awesome tonight! Go Bulldogs!

The March Board of Education meeting originally scheduled for March 11, 2019 has been changed to March 4, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the JR/SR High School library.
A reminder that the boys varsity basketball district game is at 5:30 tonight in Manton. Admission will be $6 for all those attending. Also, tomorrow night is parents/senior night for the JV/V girls basketball teams. Also, at half time of each game we are inviting all of our 4th/5th grade girls to come out and compete at half time!! We hope to see everyone out supporting our student-athletes!
FAFSA deadline is fast approaching. - Just a reminder that all seniors should submit their FAFSA online by this Friday, March 1, for full consideration for state & federal financial aid for college/tech school. Students & parents can contact Mrs. Rasmussen with any questions.
