Third graders learned how humans have an impact on our environment. Today they worked in teams and were given limited supplies to complete an oil spill challenge. It was very informative and fun!
Fun with Smokey Bear after the second grade Junior Forest Ranger graduation.
Today Mrs Arnott’s second grade class graduated from the Junior Forest Ranger program. During the days celebration students learned how to safely start a fire, cooked lunch over the fire, and how to properly extinguish a fire. Smokey Bear was in attendance too. We are very proud of our kids!
Congratulations to the Girls Softball team and the Boys Baseball teams. They concluded their season yesterday as we had to make up some conference games from earlier in the season. The girls swept Brethren and finished 2nd overall in our 10 team conference and with a regular season record of 26-12. The boys split with Brethren last night and secured 3rd place in the conference and an overall record of 19-19. Congratulations to both players and coaches on an awesome season!
Thank you to Michigan Youth Arts for approving grant money for Mesick 3D Sculpture students to attend Michigan Legacy Art Park today! Students were given an educational tour through the outdoor park. Students related classroom vocabulary to sculptures seen in the park.

It has been reported that he has represented himself as with the Mesick School district. He is not a representative of Mesick Schools. Your child's teacher has not referred this gentleman to you. He is a salesman selling an educational product.

The girls varsity softball team just won in the district semi-final vs Forest Area by a score of 6-5. They will be playing Marion for the district championship at 3:00 PM. Way to go girls!
