This week the Detroit Free Press All-State Football Team was announced and we would like to congratulate our very own Cole Spencer for being named Honorable Mention! This is an incredible accomplishment and we are extremely proud of the season Cole, his coaches, and his teammates had this past Fall. Not only does Cole dominate on the football field, but he also dominates in the classroom as well. Cole has a cumulative GPA of 3.8 and is the definition of a student-athlete. Congratulations Cole and Go Bulldogs!

Material Matters! If you were stranded on a desert island, would you be able to use the materials at hand to create a hat that would shade you from the sun and keep you cool? 2nd grade students used their imaginations and tested properties of various materials to see what would work best.

One of Mesick’s outstanding seniors is completing work experience learning during the afternoons. For the first half of the school year, he was working at Spencer Plastics, and now he works at Caberfae, maintaining the skis, snowboards, boots, and bindings. Keep up the great work, Grayden! We are proud of you!

Second update from Battle Creek: The girls are fed and ready to go! Being that we are the first game of the day, we will get two hours of warm up time in Kellogg Arena. For those with tickets, you can enter the arena at 11 am. We were given a tip to have everyone park at the hotel attached to the arena. The hotel is under renovation and there will be no parking fees. More pictures and updates to come!

Hello Everyone. In case you haven't heard, a new bus driver has joined the Mesick Family. Jerika Currie is a graduate of Mesick and is joining us with 12 years of experience as a bus driver in a neighboring district. She will be taking over for Ron on bus 12-5. We are excited to have her on the team!

With spectators for the event being limited to 50 per school, we want to make sure we send the girls off with all of the support we can. The girls game will be at Noon on Friday vs Battle Creek St. Phillip. The game will be live streamed via the link below. Your subscription from last night will grant you access to Friday's game.
