
Kindergarten Round-Up


A Huge thank you to 44North of Cadillac. They held a book drive in their office and donated all of the books to our elementary library.


Just a reminder that the Senior Awards Ceremony is this Sunday May 23rd at 5:00 pm in the gym. Each senior is allowed to bring 4 guests and masks and social distancing will be required. The event will be live streamed on the Facebook page for families and the community as well.

Ivy has participated in the Public Safety & Early College Programs at CTC the last two years. She will attend Baker College for her Associates Degree, followed by the Police Academy at Kirtland College, to pursue a career in criminal justice. Congrats, Ivy! We are so proud!


Cole is planning to pursue a career in the business field. He will be graduating with honors & attending Grand Valley State University with an academic scholarship. Congratulations, Cole! We are so proud of you! We wish you the best!


Caden has excelled academically throughout his high school career. After graduating with honors, he plans to enter the work force. Congratulations, Caden! We are proud of you, & we wish you well!


We would like to congratulate our girls varsity softball team for clinching an outright WMD Conference Championship on Monday night. This is the first softball conference championship since 2010. We would also like to congratulate our boys baseball team for being ranked 8th in the state by the MHSBCA! Both teams play in McBain tonight, Softball is in Onekama tomorrow for a 4:15 start, and both teams are in Frankfort on Friday night. We will more have announcements tomorrow recognizing more of our Mesick Student-Athletes! Go Bulldogs!

The health department will be hosting a Covid-19 vaccine clinic for students ages 12 and up on Monday, May 24 from 2:00-6:00PM at the Mesick High School Media Center. The second dose will be administered on June 14, 2021 at the high school media center. Please be on the look out for more information and a registration form tomorrow.

Hanna has participated in the Teacher Academy Program the last two years, which has helped her to develop good employability skills. She has decided to pursue a career in cosmetology. Congratulations, Hanna! We are proud of you & wish you well!


Josie has been an outstanding student throughout school. She will be attending the University of Michigan this fall, where she has been awarded the HAIL Scholarship, which is a full-tuition scholarship valued at nearly $70,000 over four years. Congrats, Josie! We are so proud!


Shaelyn has explored career options through CTC's Hospitality and Public Safety Programs. Although she will not be pursuing careers in those fields, her time at CTC has helped her develop good job skills. She has recently decided she would like to pursue a career in cosmetology. Congratulations, Shaelyn! We wish you the best!

Eric has excelled in the Heavy Equipment Program at CTC the last two years, and he has been hired by the road commission to service their vehicles. He has also been awarded a full-tuition scholarship to NMC, which he may use in the future. Congrats, Eric! We are very proud!


Maranda has been involved in the Health Sciences and Early College Programs at CTC and Baker College; she has already earned her CNA. She will attend Baker for her 13th year, where she will earn her Medical Assistant Certificate. Congratulations, Maranda! We are proud of you!


Graduating among the "Top 10" in his class, Mitchell has been a hard-working, successful student. He has expressed interest in pursuing a career in which he can do voice overs. He is planning to enter the workforce after graduation. Congratulations and best wishes, Mitchell!
