Mesick Elementary is doing a fundraiser to support the fun activities and incentives that are added to our curriculum throughout the year. The goal is to raise enough funds to support those extras at Mesick Elementary. This year our goal is $12,000.00. Information about the fundraiser was sent home with students yesterday and is posted here and on our website!

The Honors Environmental Studies class is in the middle of a unit focusing on water. To better understand the water collection task that many communities endure, students experienced what it was like to carry a 5 gallon (42lbs) bucket of water. Some carried on their head, some at the chest (bad idea!), and some just by the handle, but we were all thankful we only had to walk across the field, not carry our water for miles each day!
