Hello Mesick Consolidated School Students, Parents, and Community:
We’ve enjoyed three successful weeks of classes and here are a few important reminders:
First of all, while we’ve had a handful of students and staff test positive for the covid virus so far, we are managing the current environment successfully. For the time being, we continue to recommend masks for students and adults indoors at school, but don’t require them. There are no current plans to change that at this time.
Secondly, this week is Homecoming Week, which means special dress days at all grade levels, along with other fun activities. High school grade levels are constructing homecoming floats this week and those floats will be paraded in front of the entire student body on our campus this Friday afternoon beginning at 12:40 p.m. Parents are invited to attend! The floats will be on display near the concession stand during Friday evening’s Homecoming Football game, which begins at 7 p.m. The homecoming king and queen will be crowned at halftime of the game. Please come out and support our students on Friday evening.
Thanks for your attention, go bulldogs, and make today your best day.
Joe Hollenbeck, Superintendent
