Dear Mesick Consolidated School Community,
Unfortunately, I have to inform you that a staff member that works in the Mesick Jr/Sr High School has tested positive for COVID-19. This individual has not been in the building for a number of days. We have been in close contact and consultation with our health department regarding contact tracing and our next steps. This individual, as well as close contacts, are required to quarantine for 14 days. Our facilities have been and will continue to be properly cleaned and disinfected throughout the day and evenings.
We will continue working with the health department and follow their guidance. We are taking the recommended steps to ensure the safety of our children and staff. Contact tracing is being conducted, with the assistance of the District Health Department individuals who may have had potential exposure have been identified and are undergoing the required quarantine. We ask that you continue to work with us to keep our students, family members, and our community healthy.
